1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the TL Spec website.

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Orders

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.
  • TL Spec reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at its discretion.
  • Orders may be cancelled where pricing errors, stock discrepancies, technical issues, or suspected fraudulent activity occur.


A legally binding contract is only formed between TL Spec and the customer once we have explicitly confirmed acceptance of your order via email, regardless of whether payment processing has commenced.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are displayed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.
  • TL Spec reserves the right to amend pricing at any time without notice.
  • Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

4. Product Information

Product descriptions, specifications, images, performance figures, and compatibility information are provided in good faith.

While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, minor variations may occur and specifications may change without notice.

It is the customer's responsibility to verify that a product is suitable for its intended application before purchase and installation.

5. Vehicle Compatibility

The customer is solely responsible for ensuring compatibility with their vehicle.

Where vehicle fitment information is provided, it should be treated as guidance only and does not constitute a guarantee of compatibility with every vehicle specification, model year, market variant, or modification level.

6. Performance & Motorsport Products

Many products supplied by TL Spec are aftermarket performance components.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, products may not be approved for road use in all countries, regions, states, provinces, or territories.

The customer is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable:

  • Laws and regulations
  • Emissions requirements
  • Vehicle approval standards
  • Insurance requirements
  • Roadworthiness regulations


WARNING: Motorsport, track driving, and vehicle modification can be inherently dangerous and may result in severe property damage, personal injury, or death. The user expressly assumes all risks associated with the installation, use, and maintenance of these products. No warranty or representation is made as to any product’s ability to protect the user from injury or death.

7. Installation

Products should be installed by a suitably qualified person.

TL Spec accepts no responsibility for damage, injury, loss, or additional costs resulting from:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Improper use
  • Modification of products
  • Neglect or misuse
  • Failure to follow manufacturer recommendations


TL Spec accepts no liability for secondary preparation costs, including but not limited to painting, bodywork, prepping, or coating of components. It is the customer's strict responsibility to test-fit all parts before undertaking any painting or permanent modification.

8. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

TL Spec shall not be liable for delays caused by factors outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Courier delays
  • Customs processing
  • Weather conditions
  • Industrial action
  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Material shortages

Any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

9. Inspection of Goods

Customers should inspect all goods upon receipt.

Any shipping damage, missing items, incorrect items, or delivery issues should be reported as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

10. Returns & Refunds

Returns are subject to the TL Spec Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy.

Returned items must generally be:

  • Unused
  • Uninstalled
  • Undamaged
  • In their original condition and packaging

unless the return relates to a manufacturing defect or statutory consumer rights.

Custom-made, bespoke, special-order, or made-to-order products may not be eligible for return unless faulty or otherwise required by law.

11. Warranty

Where applicable, products are covered only by the warranty provided by the manufacturer or supplier.

Warranty coverage may be invalidated by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Incorrect installation
  • Misuse
  • Racing or competition use
  • Accidental damage
  • Product modification
  • Neglect

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TL Spec shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profit
  • Loss of business
  • Loss of use
  • Vehicle downtime
  • Recovery or towing costs
  • Labour charges
  • Workshop costs
  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic losses

The customer's statutory rights remain unaffected.

13. Intellectual Property

All website content, including but not limited to:

  • Text
  • Images
  • Graphics
  • Logos
  • Product descriptions
  • Branding

created by TL Spec remains the intellectual property of TL Spec and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

14. Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with the TL Spec Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to These Terms

TL Spec reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The version in force at the time an order is placed shall apply to that order.

If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid as a matter of law, all other parts shall remain unaffected and in full force.
